This year the American Bar Association’s Mediation Week returns to the themes of civility and Rule of Law. We are participating in Mediation Week in the following ways:
- For this week we have reduced the price of our Facilitation Analytics e-books to encourage and equip all of those interested in more civil discourse.
- We will be moderating a skills workshop on”Talking Across the Divide” using the Better Angels model on October 15, 2018. For those who are not familiar with Better Angels, it is a national group committed to depolarizing America and you are welcome to explore their site and become a member!
- On October 17, 2018 at 4:30 pm, we will be interviewing Richard Reuben, the James Lewis Parks Professor of Law at the University of Missouri School of Law, and one of the original authors of 2011 ABA Resolution 108. That resolution warned of rising partisanship and its corroding effects on democracy and the Rule of Law . You can join on-line.
The ABA has also put together an useful list of resources for those interested in dialogue.
